This Homemade Keto Whipped Cream recipe serves as a great low-carb topping for pies, cheesecakes, cakes, hot chocolate and coffee. You can use it on anything that you desire some fluffy, scrumptious, low-carb whipped cream topping on!

Yes, Whipped cream is keto friendly! It contains fat but hardly any carbs or sugar. I recommend making your own homemade whipped cream, as it is so easy and that way you know exactly what ingredients are inside!
Ingredients You’ll Need

Heavy whipping cream- Make sure you use HEAVY whipping cream! You want all that good fat. You will also want the cream cold when mixing.
Powdered Sugar Substitute- I prefer to use Lakanto Powdered Monk Fruit Sweetener. You can use any powdered sugar substitute, but I like that there is no aftertaste with Monk Fruit sweeteners.
Vanilla Extract for flavoring.
Supplies
High speed mixer with whisk attachment and mixing bowl- I use a KitchenAid stand mixer. A handheld mixer will work as well.
Spatula
Measuring cups and spoons
How to Make the Homemade Keto Whipped Cream Topping
Here are the basic instructions. Scroll down for the full recipe!
First, chill the mixing bowl. I place my metal mixing bowl in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Then, add in cold heavy whipping cream, the powdered Monk Fruit sweetener and vanilla into the mixing bowl.

Mix on a high speed until high peaks form. The whipped cream will be fluffy!

Use it as a topping for your favorite keto-friendly low carb desserts! I scoop the keto whipped cream into a piping bag for easy, beautiful dessert decorating or just spoon it right on top.

You can also top with fruit and grab a spoon! I like to top a serving of the keto whipped cream with frozen mixed berries for a cool summer treat!

Storing the Whipped Cream
Homemade Keto Whipped Cream Topping will store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 24-48 hours but beware that it may not hold the same consistency as when it is fresh. I recommend either just making the amount you need fresh, as it is so easy to mix up, or plan to simply re-whip the leftovers in the mixer prior to use if the whipped cream loses its form.
Fun with Flavors
You can add additional keto friendly flavoring to this recipe to mix it up. All you need to do is add your flavoring of choice with the rest of the basic recipe ingredients prior to mixing. You can be as creative as you want, but a few of my favorites are peppermint extract, unsweetened cocoa powder or cinnamon and nutmeg.
