Kiyokawa Family Orchards is a family-owned and operated orchard located in Parkdale. The Hood River Valley is home to some of the best apples anywhere in the country, and Kiyokawa Family Orchards grows over 150 varieties of apples, pears, cherries, and stone fruit. 2. Sherwood Orchards

Sherwood Orchards doesn’t only offer apples. 3. Oregon Heritage Farms
Oregon Heritage Farms in Scholls has been family-owned and operated since the early 1980s. For biosecurity reasons, they don’t offer U-Pick, but they harvest from 200 acres of apple trees for you to purchase right from their farm store so you can still get the experience of freshly picked and locally grown apples without doing the heavy lifting yourself.
Speaking of their farm store, it’s still almost all original from when it was built and is open from August to November. And while you can’t pick your apples yourself, they do have virtual field trips that allow you to purchase specific collections of apples online and taste along with them. Their other products can be ordered online as well.
4. Beilke Family Farm
Next on our list of best apple orchards in Oregon, Beilke Family Farm, in Brooks, has been family-run since 1950. Their 10-acre U-Pick is easily walkable and each variety (and where the ripest apples are located) is well-labeled, so it’s a great place to bring the family and mosey around on a beautiful day.
