Apple Waldorf Salad


  • 3 cups unpeeled diced apples
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup lite Mayonnaise
  • mixed salad greens (try to use a mix of greens for a great nutrition boost, spinach would work nice too!)


Combine all ingredients except mayo and salad greens. Mix well and then fold into Mayonnaise. Serve on mixed salad greens. Note: this is a great salad to play with and add other vegetables too. This makes for a nice summer salad or warm fall day treat.
